Welcome Message
Friday 19 February 2010
Good morning,
Australia has made very clear that they are on the right track.
Yesterday they showed the Black Sticks every corner of the field in Perth, 7-1.
Australia made for years high investments in their grass root and developing teams and this is the outcome: winner of the Champion Trophy 2009 and a very impressive test series.
Two weeks ago Korea was put aside in two matches and one match the Kookaburras lost.
Yesterday the Black Sticks were trashed on a terrible way with 7 goals to one.
Also news from the WC preparation of India, where they played against the developing team who lost the SAG final of Pakistan.
India hardly could get the noses in the right direction by winning of this developing team 3 to 2. Once again, after the weak match against the Oil combination team where the national team lost, not an impressive result.
But there is also good news from India, one of our articles describes about the hockey development project in Nothern India under the name of SAIL academy.
And Sahara CEO Subrato Roy in an interview with the Indian press speaks about his best wishes for the national team of India.
The last preparation week, before the WC will start, is there and the every team will arrive coming days in New Delhi. The number of stories will raise and you may have noticed that our website will undergo some changes as well.
At the top bar the players, teams etc. have replaced by other items. Hopefully more interesting for you.
Have a nice day and keep smiling,
