Introduction

Hockey in Malaysia - despite the fact that it is still very popular - is only played

at schools, at the MHL and hockey activities at Hockey Associations spread over the country.

Although for more than 30 years hockey has been successfully developed in Europe,

Australia and New Zealand especially due to presence of hockey clubs, this concept

is not built up in Malaysia and school hockey is the only source of development of hockey.

Hockey Asia has therefore her primary focus for hockey development at schools and

as a logical next step to develop hockey talents even further at hockey academy.

What do we offer?

1a. Hockey as after school activities.

For your after school activity we organized hockey training during after school hour(s).

These activities will be organized by Jaap Suyk for your hockey enthusiastics.

Prices depends of school set up - group of players and facilities but will be equal to

hockey club prices.

2. Workshops for school teachers on various aspects of hockey sport.

* Teaching basis techniques
* Coaching school team to success
* Maximum efforts at Penalty corners
* Training goalkeeper - Penalty corner attactive and defensive
* Fitness aspects for school hockey players
* Video analysis for school teams

Workshops are organized for one full day 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. included training sessions and

video education.

Price for one day - lunch not included is 100 Rm per person - Saturday.

3. The Hockey Academy database with more than 400 exciting exercises

Hockey entrepeneur Wouter Tazelaar from the Netherlands developed in last 6 years

a fantastic database with week to week hockey programs for school, hockey clubs and

hockey academies.

As consultant Wouter Tazelaar is also successful trainer connected

to the National team of Pakistan and his program is presented under the many hockey

academies of Pakistan. The successes of the hockey academies in Pakistan are

also responsible for the Asian U18 championship in Myanmar November 2009.

The database has hundreds of instruction videos, exercises and 52-week program

suitable for every school who has targeted hockey as their sport.

But there is important exchange program and information database with the students,

many tests and other interesting tools. The program offers everything to improve hockey

at school, hockey club and academy level.

For the coaches of the school team, maximum of 14 players and different team

coordinators this program is available on 24/7 basis for only 440 Rm per year.

Once you have worked with this system you don't want to stop.
