The Pakistan player Waseem Ahmed will not go back to Rotterdam for the second half of the competition. ‘We have alternatives for his position,' said coach Hans Streeder. ‘We want to give the boys from our own youth a chance.'

‘Waseem played last time especially as left defender and there boys like Mark van Lambaart, Sjoerd Gerretsen, Hidde Turkstra and Willem Hertzberger can play there.

Waseem knew this in advance. He had a contract for half a year.

Especially now Simon Child is pour in again.' (RV)
