It may have been a rousing start for some but the 2013 Project team need to seriously work on their penalty corners, as evident in the poor conversion rate during the start of their European Tour in Switzerland.

Having registered their third win, in as many matches, after defeating Suisse Selection 4-0 at the Richmont Stadium this morning, K. Dharmaraj's lads must improve on their penalty corners after having only scored four goals from the 22 awarded over the three matches.

Team manager Mirnawan Nawawi admitted the situation was quite alarming.

"That is a poor conversion rate and something the coaches are looking into seriously. We need to improve in this department and increase the rate to at least 50 per cent," said the former international.

"The team had three good warm up matches and based on their performances, they are ready to face the better teams in Barcelona."

Against Suisse Selection, the team obtained their goals through Joel van Huizen (3rd minute), Sabri Abu (5th), Amir Farid (28th) and Firhan Ashaari (50th).

Former St John's Institution student Ramesh Ramanathan was named the best player in all three matches in Geneva.

The team had earlier edged Geneva Selection 3-2 and thrashed Lyon 8-0.

They leave for Barcelona later today where they will participate in a four-nation tournament with Spain, Scotland and the Belgium Under-21 teams.
