Hockey Asia Academy

Our concept for the Hockey Asia Academy is to offer a special and intensive program

to give the most talented juniors the possibility to develop their skills on the

"European" hockey standards.

Thanks to our entrance to Dutch hockey clubs Hockey Asia Academy students

have the best chance for developing and even continuing their hockey career

in the Netherlands.

How do we select?

Junior hockey players -from the age of 14 years - make their start through our hockey club.

During our hockey training sessions we will discuss whether a player can participate in our

hockey academy program. 

We select on hockey skills - tactically skills and special talents.

Special talents can be various like: attacking - defending talents or talent for executing or

defending of the Penalty corners.

What do we offer

During special Hockey Academy hours and together with the best talents we train

on specifique skills and tactics which are carried out under pressure to make the comparison

with European hockey as much as possible.

Video analysis and video education of European top-matches are a part of our approach.

Prices and construction

The hockey academy runs on different hours than the hockey club and also non-members can

join the Academy with special invitation of Hockey Asia.

Weekly we run 3 hour program with high technical and tactical skills together with 1 hour hockey

fitness, athletic running techniques and power training (we advise 1 hour fitness per week) and

2 hours of personal video analysis and video education per month .

Price per month : 300 Rm for 18 hours including personal video recording and analysis.

Video analysis and video education

Our professional video analist and TV camera man (former RTM) organizes the technical part.

He was during the Asia Cup 2009 in Kuantan our camera man and video director.

Our location is 16 Jalan Kiara 3 at Garden School Kuala Lumpur.
