Hockey Asia consist of a small group of people from the Netherlands that started the website

and company out of passion for the sport, love for Asian societies and with

the hope to change something with hockey in Malaysia.

Hockey Asia begun with Jaap Suyk, Dutchman, hockey trainer and referee for 25+ years

before his career called him and he had –temporarily – given up

hockey for some years.

But blood flows where it can’t go and hockey became once again an important part in his life.

Rita, his wife was before Hockey Asia started more involved in art as sculptress for many years.

Both are the people behind Hockey Asia.

After almost one year in Malaysia Hockey Asia concluded that changes

will not take place, unless a party will stand up with their knowledge and expertise and

takes her responsibility.

Hockey Asia wants to be this party for Malaysia and for other countries in Asia.
